Quick and Easy Açaí Bowl

Açaí bowls cost ~$12 when you go out – ain’t nobody got time for that. This recipe provides the perfect consistency and hides a serving of greens.  It’s full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber, and healthy fats.  Eat it for breakfast, as a snack, or to satisfy your sweet tooth.


  • 1 Trader Joe’s frozen açaí packet (I like these because they have no sugar added)
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 c frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 c chopped kale
  • 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk


Choose your toppings. I used:

  • Chia seeds soaked in almond milk (pro tip: buy cheap chia seeds at Home Goods)
  • Banana
  • Cashews

Other options:

  • Flaxseed
  • Strwawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Shredded coconut
  • Honey
  • Bee pollen
